Nomenclatural History
|
The species Paenibacillus thermophilus was originally described by Zhou et al. 2012. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 149 in 2013. Kobayashi et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Paenibacillus macerans (Schardinger 1905) Ash et al. 1994 emend. Kobayashi et al. 2019
in 2019.
