Nomenclatural History	The species Gemmobacter aquaticus was originally described and validly published by Chen et al. 2013. Chen et al. formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Catellibacterium aquatile Liu et al. 2010 into the genus Gemmobacter Rothe et al. 1988 emend. Kang et al. 2017.
