Nomenclatural History
The species Sphingorhabdus marina was originally described and validly published by Jogler et al. 2013. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Jogler et al. formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Kim et al. 2008 into the genus Jogler et al. 2013 emend. Feng et al. 2020. In 2020, Feng et al. established as the basonym of (Kim et al. 2008) Feng et al. 2020 .
