Nomenclatural History
The genus Domibacillus was originally proposed and validly published by Seiler et al. 2013. Sharma et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2014. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Sonalkar et al. in 2014, Gyeong et al. in 2015, Sun and Sun in 2016 and Verma et al. in 2017.
