The species Lysinibacillus chungkukjangi was originally described by Kim et al. 2013. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 154 in 2013. In 2019, Gupta and Patel established as the basonym of (Kim et al. 2013) Gupta and Patel 2020 .
