Nomenclatural History
The genus Saccharicrinis was originally proposed and validly published by Yang et al. 2014. Liu et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2014. A subsequent emendation was proposed by García-López et al. in 2019. García-López et al. transferred the members of Lu et al. 2017 into this genus in 2019.
