The species Saccharopolyspora ghardaiensis was originally described by Meklat et al. 2014. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 160 in 2014. In 2017, Moshtaghi Nikou et al. established as the basonym of (Meklat et al. 2014) Moshtaghi Nikou et al. 2017 .
