Nomenclatural History
The species Neorhizobium alkalisoli was originally described by Mousavi et al. 2014. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 161 in 2015. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Mousavi et al. formed this name in 2014 by placing the species Lu et al. 2009 into the genus Mousavi et al. 2015.
