Nomenclatural History
The species Celeribacter halophilus was originally described and validly published by Lai et al. 2014. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Lai et al. formed this name in 2014 by placing the species Wang et al. 2012 into the genus Ivanova et al. 2010 emend. Hördt et al. 2020.
