Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Vibrio tubiashii tubiashii was originally described by Prado et al. 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 169 in 2016. In 2015, Prado et al. reduced Hada et al. 1984 emend. Dubert et al. 2016 to the rank of subspecies.

Note that the citation of the reference has been modified by the compositor's incorrect implementation of reference tagging). It should read Vibrio tubiashii (Hada et al. 1984)
