The species Chryseobacterium arachidiradicis was originally described and validly published by Kämpfer et al. 2015. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. In 2020, Nicholson et al. established as the basonym of (Kämpfer et al. 2015) Nicholson et al. 2020 .
