Nomenclatural History
The species Salisediminibacterium locisalis was originally described by Sultanpuram et al. 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 164 in 2015. Sultanpuram et al. formed this name in 2015 by placing the species Márquez et al. 2011 into the genus Jiang et al. 2012 emend. Gupta et al. 2020.
