Nomenclatural History
The species Brevirhabdus pacifica was originally described and validly published by Wu et al. 2015. Liu et al. published an emended description of this species in 2017. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Hördt et al. in 2020. Liu et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Wang et al. 2016 in 2017.
