Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces kanasensis was originally described by Han et al. 2015.

Han et al. 2015 claim the type strain equivalence is ZX01 (=CGMCC 4893 =JCM 30232). However, JCM 30232 serves as the type for Kangiella profundi. CGMCC 4893 is not available from CGMCC, and is also a patent strain, contravening the code.
