The species Devosia mishustinii was originally described and validly published by Park et al. 2016. Park et al. formed this name in 2016 by placing the species (Vasil'eva et al. 2009) Yee et al. 2010 into the genus Nakagawa et al. 1996 emend. Zhang et al. 2012.
