Agathobaculum desmolans (Morris et al. 1986) Ahn et al. 2016 pro synon. Butyricicoccus desmolans (Morris et al. 1986) Takada et al. 2016
in 2016. Takada et al. formed this name in 2016 by placing the species
Eubacterium desmolans Morris et al. 1986
into the genus Butyricicoccus Eeckhaut et al. 2008.
