Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Enterobacter hormaechei hormaechei was originally described by Hoffmann et al. 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 172 in 2016. In 2005, Hoffmann et al. reduced Enterobacter hormaechei O'Hara et al. 1990 emend. Hoffmann et al. 2005 to the rank of subspecies.
