Nomenclatural History
The species Jeotgalibacillus soli was originally described by Chen et al. 2010. Srinivas et al. replaced this illegitimate name with Srinivas et al. 2016 in 2016.

Jeotgalibacillus soli Chen et al. 2010 NVP, effectively but not validly published, is an illegitimate homonym for the name Jeotgalibacillus soli Cunha et. al 2012 VP.
