Nomenclatural History
Upon validation, this name was corrected from (sic) to . The species Caedobacter taeniospiralis was originally described by Preer et al. 1974. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1982 the name was revived and validly published by Preer and Preer.
