Nomenclatural History	The species Stenotrophomonas pictorum was originally described and validly published by Ouattara et al. 2017. Ouattara et al. formed this name in 2017 by placing the species Pseudomonas pictorum Gray and Thornton 1928 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Stenotrophomonas Palleroni and Bradbury 1993 emend. Ouattara et al. 2017.
