Nomenclatural History

The genus Dictyobacter was originally proposed and validly published by Yabe et al. 2017. Wang et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2019. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Zheng et al. in 2020 and Yabe et al. in 2021.
