The species Paraburkholderia jirisanensis was originally described and validly published by Dobritsa et al. 2017. Dobritsa et al. formed this name in 2017 by placing the species Kim et al. 2016 into the genus Sawana et al. 2015 emend. Dobritsa and Samadpour 2016.
