Nomenclatural History	The species Thermostaphylospora chromogena was originally described and validly published by Wu et al. 2018. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Wu et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Thermomonospora chromogena (ex Krasil'nikov and Agre 1965) McCarthy and Cross 1984 into the genus Thermostaphylospora Wu et al. 2018.
