Nomenclatural History	The species Corynebacterium otitidis was originally described by Baek et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 183 in 2018. Baek et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Turicella otitidis Funke et al. 1994 into the genus Corynebacterium Lehmann and Neumann 1896 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Baek et al. 2018.
