Nomenclatural History	The species Kitasatospora indigofera was originally described by Nouioui et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 184 in 2018. Nouioui et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Streptomyces indigoferus Shinobu and Kawato 1960 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Streptomyces Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
