Nomenclatural History	The species Micromonospora fiedleri was originally described by Nouioui et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 184 in 2018. Nouioui et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Verrucosispora fiedleri Goodfellow et al. 2013 into the genus Micromonospora Ørskov 1923 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018.
