Nomenclatural History
The species Flagellimonas pacifica was originally described and validly published by Choi et al. 2018. Choi et al. formed this name in 2018 by placing the species Gao et al. 2015 into the genus Bae et al. 2007 emend. Choi et al. 2018. In 2021, Liang et al. established as the basonym of Liang et al. 2021 .
