Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas pyocyanea was originally described by Migula 1895. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 5 in 1952. Judicial Commission established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Schroeter 1872) Migula 1900 (Approved Lists 1980) in 1952.
