Proper Form
| Lachnoclostridium Yutin and Galperin 2013 |
Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Lachnoclostridium was originally proposed by Yutin and Galperin 2013. Haas and Blanchard established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Lacrimispora Haas and Blanchard 2020
in 2020.
Although Yutin and Galperin 2013 provided a description for this genus, it cannot be Validly Published because the type species Lachnoclostridium phytofermentans was not formally proposed.
