Nomenclatural History	The species Lachnoclostridium oroticum was originally described by Yutin and Galperin 2013. Yutin and Galperin formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Clostridium oroticum (Wachsman and Barker 1954) Cato et al. 1968 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Lachnoclostridium Yutin and Galperin 2013. Yutin and Galperin 2013 did not formally propose this new combination.
