The species Acetobacter oryzifermentans was originally described by Kim et al. 2018. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 187 in 2019.
In the etymology of Acetobacter oryzifermentans, ‘N.L. part. adj. fermentans fermenting’ was corrected to ‘L. part. adj. fermentans fermenting’.
