The species Pseudomonas asiatica was originally described and validly published by Tohya et al. 2019. Tohya et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Tohya et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas shirazica Keshavarz-Tohid et al. 2020
in 2020.
