Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Yersinia kristensenii rochesterensis was originally described and validly published by Cunningham et al. 2019. Nguyen et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Yersinia occitanica Le Guern et al. 2020 in 2021. Nguyen et al. elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name Yersinia rochesterensis (Cunningham et al. 2019) Nguyen et al. 2021 in 2021.
