Nomenclatural History
|
The species Nostocoides limicola was originally described by Blackall et al. 2000. Oren et al. corrected this name from Candidatus Nostocoida limicola (sic) to Candidatus Nostocoides limicola . McKenzie et al. replaced this name with
Tetrasphaera jenkinsii McKenzie et al. 2006 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2006.
