The species Mycoplasma todarodis was originally described by Ramírez et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 196 in 2020.

Note that the DSM number of Mycoplasma todarodis is given as 105,488 instead of 105488 in the effective publication. As this cannot be corrected in the validation list, an erratum must be published for this name to be validly published.
