Nomenclatural History	The genus Mesobacillus was originally proposed and validly published by Patel and Gupta 2020. "The present work indicates that ‘Bacillus mediterraneensis’ is also a part of the genus Mesobacillus. However, as this species name is only effectively but not validly published and type strain for this species is not available/listed in two different culture collections, a new name combination for it was not proposed."
