Nomenclatural History
The species Alkalihalobacillus okuhidensis was originally described and validly published by Patel and Gupta 2020. Patel and Gupta formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Li et al. 2002 into the genus Patel and Gupta 2020 emend. Joshi et al. 2021. Joshi et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Nielsen et al. 1995) Patel and Gupta 2020 in 2021.
