Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Luteovulum sphaeroides megalophilum was originally described by Suresh et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 196 in 2020. In 2019, Suresh et al. reduced Arunasri et al. 2008 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 to the rank of subspecies.
