Nomenclatural History	The species Flavilitoribacter nigricans was originally described by García-López et al. 2019. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 193 in 2020. García-López et al. formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Lewinella nigricans (Lewin 1970) Sly et al. 1998 emend. Khan et al. 2007 into the genus Flavilitoribacter García-López et al. 2020.
