Nomenclatural History
The species Chryseobacterium buanense was originally described by García-López et al. 2019. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 193 in 2020. García-López et al. formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Joung et al. 2010 emend. Sirra et al. 2017 into the genus Vandamme et al. 1994 emend. Heidler von Heilborn et al. 2022.
