Nomenclatural History	The species Rhizorhabdus wittichii was originally described by Hördt et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 194 in 2020. Hördt et al. formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Sphingomonas wittichii Yabuuchi et al. 2001 emend. Kim et al. 2015 into the genus Rhizorhabdus Francis et al. 2014 emend. Kim et al. 2015.
