Nomenclatural History
The species Limosilactobacillus reuteri was originally described and validly published by Zheng et al. 2020. Zheng et al. formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Kandler et al. 1982 into the genus Zheng et al. 2020. In 2021, Li et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Kandler et al. 1982) Li et al. 2021 .
