Nomenclatural History
The species Phytobacter massiliensis was originally described by Ma et al. 2020. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 198 in 2021. Ma et al. formed this name in 2020 by placing the species (Lagier et al. 2014) Alnajar and Gupta 2017 into the genus Zhang et al. 2017 emend. Ma et al. 2020.
