Nomenclatural History	The species Cognaticolwellia chukchiensis was originally described by Liu et al. 2020. Liu et al. formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Colwellia chukchiensis Yu et al. 2011 into the genus Cognaticolwellia Liu et al. 2021. The authors specified an incorrect basonym for this new combination. A correction needs to be issued in order for this name to be validated.
