Nomenclatural History
The species Acidithiobacillus concretivorus was originally described by Boden and Hutt 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 199 in 2021. Boden and Hutt formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Parker 1945 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Kelly and Wood 2000 emend. Hallberg et al. 2010.
