The species Paraburkholderia ultramafica was originally described and validly published by Gao et al. 2021. Gao et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Guentas et al. 2019 into the genus Sawana et al. 2015 emend. Dobritsa and Samadpour 2016.
