Nomenclatural History	The species Ciceribacter selenitireducens was originally described by Rahi et al. 2021. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 202 in 2021. Rahi et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Rhizobium selenitireducens corrig. Hunter et al. 2008 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 into the genus Ciceribacter Kathiravan et al. 2013 emend. Rahi et al. 2021.
