Nomenclatural History	The species Rickettsiella massiliensis was originally described by Saini and Gupta 2021. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 202 in 2021. Saini and Gupta formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Diplorickettsia massiliensis Mediannikov et al. 2011 into the genus Rickettsiella Philip 1956 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Saini and Gupta 2021.
