Nomenclatural History	The species Natrinema saccharevitans was originally described by de la Haba et al. 2021. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 203 in 2022. de la Haba et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Haloterrigena saccharevitans Xu et al. 2005 into the genus Natrinema McGenity et al. 1998 emend. de la Haba et al. 2021.
