Nomenclatural History	The species Microcella frigidaquae was originally described by Xie et al. 2021. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 204 in 2022. Xie et al. formed this name in 2021 by placing the species Chryseoglobus frigidaquae Baik et al. 2010 into the genus Microcella Tiago et al. 2005 emend. Xie et al. 2021.
